Growing up, I always thought business owners had to be bulldozers. People who were shark-like and cutthroat to be successful. And that they were constantly stressed.
Meanwhile, I was soft-spoken, not really that detail-oriented, and had no one in my life who was a business owner to look up to.
I was bad at customer service; I misunderstood how to price things, I made mistakes as a first time manager. It was all quite a mess.
